A guide to the meningococcal B vaccines that help to protect against meningitis and septicaemia (DL leaflet)
An NHS guide about the MenB vaccinations for young adults. The vaccinations protect against meningitis and septicaemia and should be given to anyone eligible for a vaccination. The vaccines are offered to close contacts and anyone in the risk group.
Two-dose MenB vaccine is to be offered to young people ahead of the Autumn as part of a one-off vaccination programme in England. Meningococcal disease is life-threatening and can result in life-changing disabilities, so this programme will help to protect those at highest immediate risk .
